Travel to job sites to assist in safely assembling and disassembling company-owned and rented cranes.
Work with A/D director to learn assembly and disassembly of the different cranes we move and work towards an AD Director Certification.
Making mechanical repairs to cranes and crane components as needed.
Driving a service vehicle to different work locations.
Perform monthly and annual inspections on cranes once they are assembled.
Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for days and in some cases weeks at a time.
Basic rigging skills at a minimum and a willingness to learn
5 years of experience in the heavy construction industry
Crane signal person certification or be willing to obtain.
Crane operator certification from an accredited organization (NCCCO, NCCER) preferred.
Basic mechanic tools
Must have basic computer skills
S/he must pay attention to detail, be a self-starter, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and peers.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
