Job Description:

Job duties will include:

Analyzing data and configurations for information extraction and technical issue resolution

Interpret client interfaces and propose interactions to fulfill business needs

Understanding and working with diverse data feeds such as Hl7, unstructured text, CSV, and XML

Understanding and working with API interfacing

Documenting interface requirements, including written and Visio design of interface directional and functional components.

Documenting data element mapping across multiple systems

Documenting data migration interface design and data element mapping across multiple systems

Creating testing and data validation strategies for successful implementations

Gathering user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system

Communicating with technical and non-technical customers and vendors

Perform other related duties as necessary

Strong customer service skills position will work directly with clients

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a similar field, or equivalent experience required

A minimum of 5 years' experience in EDI and Interface technologies

Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for healthcare

Prior experience with medical insurance claims and provider/payer workflows

Knowledge of HIPAA EDI

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years' experience in EDI and Interface technologies

Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for healthcare

Prior experience with medical insurance claims and provider/payer workflows

Prior experience using Cerner Millennium, Ontario System's Artiva, Intersystem' s Cache Database a plus

Prior experience with large data migration projects and implementations

UX design experience is preferred

Analytical thinking and trouble shooting

Expectations:

Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture principals

Strong attention to detail

Ability to project manage and work with large teams

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certain positions may be subject to additional background screening depending on client need and access to certain systems.

This position will require you to have the ability to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines.

You will be responsible for conducting business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company.
