Job Description:

We are excited to be adding a new member to our team! We are looking to hire an experienced EDI Analyst. Your primary role will be working with the design and install of data for our healthcare administration technology clients. You will be a key player in meeting with our clients to understand their data interchange needs, design appropriate EDI systems as well as train them on the use of the system. You will be responsible for analyzing business systems, networking configurations, and data storage facilities while also building customized data interchange systems cross-company or for individual department use. We expect you to have an in-depth knowledge of software programming languages, expert troubleshooting skills, and experience with end-user training. Other responsibilities may include:

Testing and debugging the system.

Gathering user feedback on the accuracy, efficiency, and functionality of the system.

Adjusting and customizing the system based on user feedback.

Deploying completed systems and providing maintenance support.

Training end-users on the proper use of the system.

Documentation -- writing system/technical specifications to ensure solution supports functional requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field

5+ years' experience as an EDI analyst

Expectations:

Experience with Electronic data interchange (EDI) for healthcare

UX design experience is preferred

Advanced knowledge of software programming and coding languages including C++, Java, XML, CSV, and SQL

Knowledge of HIPAA EDI, Facets EDI, Facets EDI batch, and HIPAA Gateway a plus

Analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills

Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture principals

Ability to project manage and work with large teams

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with end-user training

Additional Information:

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

This position will require you to have the ability to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines.

You will be responsible for conducting business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company. Must maintain a good credit rating while employed with the company.

This job is 100% remote

 

 

Work Schedule

Regular Business Hours: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5PMOur hours of operations for some service offerings will occur outside of regular business hours up to / including 24/7 coverage with the exception of federally recognized holidays.This position may have on-call requirements.
