Job Description:

This position entails technical, and complex Right-of-Way determination and plan development functions relating to determining Existing Condition and proposed Final Right-of-Way and condemnation documentation for Project Development projects. This position will perform existing right-of-way research, boundary research, deed and plan interpretation, working with and interpreting ground survey and topographic data, review of Property Owner Reports and review of State, county, and municipal records to produce existing conditions plans. This position also will perform the design and layout of a variety of property rights to be acquired by condemnation or deed for transportation projects in developing the Final right-of-way plans. This position requires knowledge and skills in boundary survey mathematics, CADD plan development, and property research. This position requires working with project managers, legal office, surveyors, designers, right-of-way and property professionals to meet the changing needs and project schedules.

To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

Eight (8) years of experience in engineering OR a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and four (4) years of engineering experience OR an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and six (6) years of experience in engineering.
