Job Description

Bargaining Unit/Anticipated Salary Range:  MEA Administrator; Level 2; $34,522.77 - $45,044.38

Responsibilities:  This position will serve as the initial point of contact for new prospective partners to the Center for Learning Engineering.  This work includes educating partners on products and services offered through the Center, while simultaneously helping organizations identify their needs and desired outcomes. This position will assist faculty and staff in developing and redesigning programs and courses by engaging business and industry partners in identifying the specific skills and competencies required in today’s workplace.  This work will include managing relationships that support stackable credentials including digital badges, certificates, and associate degrees and the related assessments that verify the student’s mastery of the subject matter. This position works closely with teams comprised of faculty, Academic Affairs and Workforce Development. This role will serve as the project manager for the Center for Learning Engineering including but not limited to partnership agreements and timelines, contracts, budgets, and outcomes data.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in business, communications or related field; 2 years’ experience in partnership and/or project management; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated independent work initiative, sound judgment and attention to detail. Relationship cultivation and management experience. Project management skills. Demonstrated knowledge of career and technical education. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot problems and meet strict deadlines. Administrative experience in higher education.
