Summary

The Palliative Medicine Program at Maine Medical Partners is seeking a Palliative Medicine attending physician to join their team in a full time position. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Maine Medical Partners Palliative Medicine is comprised of physicians, advanced practice professionals, social workers and chaplains. The majority of your care will be provided in the beautiful Maine Coast at two sites, Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, Maine and Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, Maine. You will work with a local team of advance practice providers and social workers while being fully integrated into the academic palliative care group at Maine Medical Center. You will participate as faculty in the Maine Medical Center's Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program, which trains two fellows per year. You will work closely with Maine Medical Center as well as other MaineHealth hospitals to build a coordinated network of specialty palliative care.
