Attendant Services Maine (ASM) is seeking a payroll services specialist with exceptional customer service skills to join its Financial Management Services (FMS) team. ASM works side by side with people with disabilities across Maine, offering fiscal intermediary and financial management services designed to help them live independently at home and in the community. ASM was the first in Maine to provide fiscal intermediary services in support of self-direction programs throughout Maine.

The Payroll Services Specialist position, which will work from our South Portland office while serving people statewide, could be the right fit for you if:

  • You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field;
  • You have customer service related experience and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of self-directed service options and requirements;
  • You are eager to tackle any challenge;
  • You enjoy customer service, communication, and cultivating long term relationships;
  • You are self-motivated and well organized with strong communication, technology, and administrative skills;
  • You’re interested in building a career, not merely “working a job;”
  • Experience in payroll services a plus.
