Mid-Coast Hospital seeking an Executive Director for Thornton Oaks Retirement Community. The Executive Director has overall responsibility for the operation of the programs and the implementation of associated services. Formulates policy, establishes procedures, sets priorities, hires, organizes and oversees the staff, monitors services, develops an annual operating budget, and tracks expenses. Communicates policies, plans and priorities to staff, residents/customers and the Board of Directors. The Executive Director continually evaluates, refines, and modifies these policies, procedures, and services to improve efficiency, promote long-term stability and enhance community reputation.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Experience: Significant previous job-related experience required.
Proven ability to lead an organization.
Proven ability to multi-task and get things done.
Proven ability to remain calm and respond positively to stressful situations not of your own making.
Proven ability to create and manage budgets.
Proven ability to set and achieve goals.
