Secretary Pay Range: Starting at $16.00 hourly, DOE

Secretary Schedule: 8:30am - 5:00pm, M-F

Secretary Start Date: ASAP


The Secretary position in Orono, Maine is responsible for answering phones, managing and maintaining documents, making appointments, and other related office duties. You will have a solid understanding of general office tasks and clerical organization. Successful candidates will be customer oriented with strong interpersonal skills. This is a full time position. This company is relatively small and looking for someone to join their close-knit office. The ideal candidate will be friendly and cooperative in team settings. 


Secretary Qualifications: 

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • Prior experience working in an office environment strongly preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and take on large volumes of work as needed

  • Must show initiative and be a strong problem solver

  • Must be familiar with general office equipment and technologies
