Participates in the day-to-day functions of the Nutritional Services Department, ensuring quality food products are readily available for internal and external customers. The position will require the employee to be capable of delivering meals, porter assignments, washing dishes and basic food preparation.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of food and customer service skills is preferred.
Ability to work effectively with fellow workers and others.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Ability to learn the use and care of equipment, materials, utensils, and methods used in food service.
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to walk and remain standing while on shift.
