Position Purpose:

The Consultant for Signature Performance's Consulting Practice will be responsible for helping align clients' vision and mission, while attaining and exceeding desired outcomes. Consultants will support key client initiatives for software implementations, advisory consulting services, and other strategic engagements. They will drive Revenue Cycle process excellence and leverage solution knowledge as subject matter experts, while executing strategic engagements and providing implementation guidance. Signature Performance consultants will use data and real-world experience to drive postive business outcomes that exceed the expectations of our clients.

Organization:

This position reports directly to the Vice President, Consulting Services

Essential Job Functions:

Provide subject matter expertise to clients in the form of implementation or advisory consulting services

Perform end-to-end consulting services with clients in the form of workflow analysis, implementation services, and key performance indicator analysis and recommendations

Know, understand, and provide recommendations to reduce administrative burden on healthcare based on industry best practices and research as defined by recognized professional organizations (i.e., HFMA, ACHE, HBMA, etc.)

Demonstrate value by establishing strong client relationships and exceeding contractually identified outcomes, striving for 100% client referencability.

Ensure that all projects are on time, on schedule, on budget while meeting client expectations

Compile reports using available data to present strategic and tactical plans that improve client outcomes

Independently drive project success by providing strong leadership skills

Communicate with clients at both the leadership and end-user level related to analysis, recommendations, and outcome attainment

Become proficient on all product and service offerings.

Up to 75% travel.

Achieve billability targets as assigned.

Other duties may be assigned.

SUCCESS INDICATORS:

A Signature Performance Consultant is succeeding when clients begin to rely on their knowledge, strategic guidance, and influence to define and execute important initiatives for their business. This will come as the Consultant demonstrates exceptional knowledge of revenue cycle process, build trust with key clients, drive positive business outcomes and showcase an 'all in' mentality by rolling up their sleeves to help clients achieve success.

Knowledge & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Professional certifications (CRCR, CHFP, RHIA, NAHAM, etc.) preferred

3+ years in consulting, operational leadership or other similar relevant work experience preferred

Understanding of and experience in healthcare administration and business operations.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment among driven professionals.

Must be a highly motivated individual able to grasp complex technologies, tools and concepts and learn quickly.

General Areas of Accountability:

Must conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company.

Machines and Equipment:

The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines.

Physical Activity:

The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. This position is sedentary in nature with minimal lifting requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone utilizing a headset, sitting and data keying are required.

Remote Eligibility: This position is full-time remote eligible. Eligibility is determined by Management or Human Resources.
