We are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Activation to bring Pearson’s new college study app direct to students in accessible, relevant and innovative ways. This person will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and executing the activation strategies that scale subscribers and revenue. This role reports to the Director, DTC Marketing.


+ Lead activation across key digital marketing programs driving incremental sales, traffic, and customer acquisition and retention programs

+ Review and develop insights from channel data; diagnose and pin-points actions, and metrics to continue to grow, influence and enhance effectiveness of channel strategy.

+ Oversee end-to-end implementation of digital programs

+ Provides guidance on campaign optimization methods to achieve campaign and channel objectives.

+ Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Product Management, Creative, Insights and Analytics, and Finance to develop and implement multiple complex channel specific digital marketing plans/ programs.

+ Recommend improvements to optimization methodologies based on performance reports.

+ Lead and drive the timelines, budgets, strategy, and cross channel alignment for activation campaigns

+ Effectively communicate and report performance metrics of campaign planning strategy and goals with key stakeholders.

The anticipated starting beginning salary range for Colorado-based candidates expressing interest in this position is $110K. This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program.

+ Retail or consumer goods experience is required

+ Digital subscription experience a plus

+ Minimum 6-8 years experience managing a planning or campaign trafficking team

+ Proven track record of leading and executing successful direct response and branding programs

+ Deep understanding of key media channel execution (CRM, Paid Social, Display, SEO, SEM, and Affiliate)

+ Experience working in highly cross-functional and matrixed organizations

+ Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data-driven analyses that answer those questions

+ Confident leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others
