PAY: $56,160/yr / Weekly Mileage Bonus Available (paid out after 1,600 miles at $0.60/mile)

Based from Portland, ME | TYPE: Full Time - Exempt
The Long-Haul Driver will be based in Portland, ME. The driver will be responsible for local and long haul bulk fluid transfers of Type 1 non-hazardous Glycol and spent Glycol waste between our Northeast Mid Atlantic sites including but not limited to Portland, Newark, New York, Washington DC and Hartford with occasional travel to Indiana. When not engaged in transporting fluid, there will be a requirement to operate our fluid collection and/or processing equipment. This is a regular full-time position. Travel is required and overnight travel can be expected.
We welcome recent graduates, we have quick runs with an overnight stay and you're home weekly. All of our trucks are no older than 2 years (Freightliner Cascadia), also company fuel cards as well as ezpass.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate and navigate company-owned or leased vehicles in excess of four tons including tractor/trailer/tanker, forklift and mechanized equipment;
Document, record, and track all required log sheets IAW, FMCSA, DOT and Inland Technologies International Ltd. requirements;
Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and the ability to effectively use maps and direction for efficient travel routing;
Perform administrative tasks including maintaining information files and processing paperwork and travel logs;
Inspection of truck(s) before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition;
Inventory and inspect fluid quality prior to transport;
Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations IAW FMSCA regulations when transporting and delivering goods;
Report to weigh station before and after loading and along route to document weight and conform to state regulations;
Practice safe operation of all equipment at all times.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Valid Commercial Class A driver's license with Tanker Endorsement;
Clean driver's abstract;
Minimum two years' commercial driving experience;
High school diploma or equivalent;
Must be able to pass drug screening and
Must pass Transportation Security Administration 10 Year background check
Sitting while driving for long periods of time in possible inclement weather;
