Supervise BMDA designer team responsible for developing and maintaining tools for Lifecycle AutoCAD and Catia environments
Ensure technology needs of the Lifecycle organization are identified and met. This includes overseeing the issuance, tracking, and budgeting of technology assets including laptops, mobile devices, and advanced imaging technologies
Provide procedural and technical guidance to the development teams
Provide governance of the toolsets deployed to the design floor, and ensure floor-wide adherence to technical processes and procedures
Exhibits excellent customer service in addressing and resolving technical challenges encountered by Lifecycle staff
Processes and verifies employee time and attendance records
Administers BMDA labor contract
Bachelor of science in a technical field, or BIW graduate apprentice with 5yrs of design, engineering, or IT experience
Experience developing databases and writing queries with Microsoft Access
Proficiency with AutoCAD (for understanding developmental and maintenance priorities)
Solid understanding of Lifecycle's mission and products
Proven formal and informal communication ability
Ability to pivot and work multiple priorities in a dynamic, mission-critical work environment
Proven leadership ability
Occasional travel will be required
Developmental experience and training with SQL server
Experience working with API keys
Operational waterfront experience
