Job Description

Position Summary: 

The Quality Control Specialist performs pre-QC and/or Post-Closing review of all loans underwritten or closed to ensure loan documents are prepared and/or executed properly and meet federal, state, and bank policy requirements. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform a pre or post-closing review of all loans underwritten or closed by LPC to ensure loan files and documents are prepared or executed properly and meet federal, state, and bank policy requirements.   

  • Review consumer, residential, and/or commercial loan files for compliance.

  • Facilitate accurate resolve of any errors discovered during any pre QC or post-closing review.

  • Ensure all reports reflect accurate data and are worked systematically and regularly.

  • Follow up timely and accurately correct post-closing review items identified in a 10% file test.

  • Maintain and make changes to any Pre QC checklists/reports/correspondence.

  • Assist department personnel on an as needed basis.

          

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
