As a Technician you will you will have the opportunity to put your education and training to use in a real world environment. Technicians are an integral part of keeping our manufacturing, facilities and operations organizations functioning at peak levels. Technician roles in our manufacturing environment will be working a compressed work week which includes automatic daily over time – shifts are comprised of 12 hour days, where you are working 14 days a month. Technician roles supporting Facilities and Engineering operations would work day shift, Mon – Friday.
Technicians are generally responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating and performing maintenance to ensure systems and tools are operating at full capacity in order to maintain our continuous business operations. Technicians can be placed in a variety of roles, such as:
+ Provide technical support for a specific product or group of products, from product definition and planning through production and release.
+ When the product is on the line, product technicians monitor and audit line operators, and offer guidance.
+ Responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers.
+ Once the product is on the line, the technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
+ Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
+ Responsible for performing functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin films, etch and diffusion.
+ Duties include repair and troubleshooting, performing setup, calibration, qualification and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment.
+ Responsible for performing technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Responsible for improving system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs while monitoring and analyzing all related data to improve/maintain tool performance and address all issues. Duties include monitoring , auditing, and providing guidance to line operators while maintaining the process flow.
These positions may require individuals to wear personal protective equipment and respirators during certain maintenance procedures. Work may involve repetitive motion and some heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

+ AAS/AS degree in a technical field AND/OR equivalent military training
