We operate our farms in a Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS-System). We clean our water on the way in to make sure our fish have optimal conditions but we also clean our water on the way out to minimize our impact on the environment. By operating in a closed environment, we are able to produce our fish without any antibiotics, vaccines, hormones or medications. We heat and filter the water we extract from the ocean, we re-use it on the farm and clean it again before we send it back. This is what is called a RAS system. That is the most innovative part and what makes the company successful in producing fish in a sustainable way, on a large scale.
