The Revenue Cycle Operations Specialist plays a lead role in supporting end users workflows and use of Revenue Cycle IT systems. This includes analysis of system upgrades, testing and development of end user documentation. The Revenue Cycle Operations Specialist (as the product expert) is responsible for appropriate referral/resolution of reported issues including providing status updates to internal customers while monitoring status of internal and externally referred issues.
+ Provides specialized technical support for financial information systems.
+ Installs, operates, and maintains financial information systems. Manages system resources including capacity, availability, security, and recovery.
+ Works to resolve user interface issues and recommends steps to prevent recurrences. Determines origin of system malfunctions and works collaboratively with staff and/or vendors to resolve problems
+ Collaborates on systems strategic planning, analysis, implementation, evaluation, and training initiatives.
+ Serves as an internal resource and consultant regarding the functioning and administration of assigned systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
+ At least 3-5+ years of Revenue Cycle experience with demonstrated understanding of core Revenue Cycle processes
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
+ Ability to effectively work both in a self-directed manner and collaboratively within a team setting
