We are actively hiring DSPs for multiple locations and schedules including:
Woodfords Family Services located in Kennebunk, ME is in search of hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to be caregivers. DSPs work one-on-one with our adult consumers with special needs in our Residential and Independent Living programs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
As a part-time or full-time Direct Support Professional, you are a caregiver to adults with developmental disabilities. You will support adult consumers with daily living skills including budgeting, meal prep, housekeeping, grocery shopping, decision making, transportation, and personal support. By offering your compassionate support, you assist individuals to be active in their communities and also accompany individuals on outings and activities. You will support adults to make daily progress toward their goals. As a DSP caregiver in our Residential and Independent Living programs, you work independently with an adult consumer as well as cooperatively within a treatment team. To stay at the top of your game, you participate in paid training and opportunities to advance in your career. We support our DSPs to learn new things that improve your skills and gain strategies needed to be successful.
WORK SCHEDULES AVAILABLE
- Schedule #1: Sunday 8am-6pm, Monday 12:30pm-11pm, Tuesday 12:30pm-11pm, Wednesday 12:30pm-8:30pm
- Schedule #2: Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 8am-8pm
QUALIFICATIONS OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP) & CRMA
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license
- Use of reliable vehicle with current insurance
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification required
- Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) required
- Good physical strength; able to bend, lift and stand
