Job Description


Outpatient Mental Health Therapy provides medically necessary professional assessment, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to assist individuals in addressing any number of life difficulties, disorders and barriers including, but not limited to, relationship and family issues, stress, emotional difficulties and disorders, impulse control, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, adjustment disorders, trauma, personality disorders, co-occurring disorders, and severe and persistent mental health disorders in order to improve client functioning. Services address client symptoms, help relieve excess stress, and promotes progressive growth through planned interactions.

Therapists may assist clients who live alone or with family or are coming out of hospitals, jails, or residential services, who are homeless, or are or have experienced domestic violence, legal issues, and child protective services involvement. Outpatient therapy may be provided individually in the office, in a home or other confidential location, via HIPAA compliant telehealth, or in a group setting.

Qualifications: Only qualified and properly trained full or conditional Maine licensed therapists with a minimum of a master’s degree will provide outpatient mental health therapy with clients according to their scope of practice. LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, etc. including conditionally licensed individuals are eligible.

This can be both an in-person (Livermore Falls) or remote position, and can be either part- or full-time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
