The Nutrition Coordinator provides day-to-day coordination of the community center’s Nutrition Program, assessing eligibility for and delivering meals to homebound adults, providing leadership and guidance to volunteers, and ensuring proper data collection and storage.
This is a full time position and will routinely float between our six Meals on Wheels site locations to provide assistance in all areas of the Nutrition Program, and complete required reporting on a regular and timely basis. This will require an individual who is comfortable in multiple work settings and is willing to travel on a regular basis.
The ideal candidate will manage the Nutrition program as it relates to each center location and be able to make presentations and speak in front of groups of various sizes. They should have intermediate computer and data entry skills and possess strong interpersonal skills when communicating with customers, employees, vendors and any necessary state and local government entities. In addition, they will assist with the intake and ongoing training for volunteers working in the nutrition program and insure adherence to HIPPA rules.
