Statement of the Job: The Assistant Director of Admissions/Student Ambassador Programs is a member of the admissions/recruitment team responsible for overseeing all functions of the welcome center at Heritage House. Primary responsibilities of this position include the planning and development of campus visits and tours, supervision of the student ambassador program, and participation in recruitment events. Qualifications: Required: * Typically possesses a Master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and 2 or more years of successful enrollment management and/or higher education related work experience with progressive responsibility. * Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communications as well as an ability to work with and relate to high school and college students, parents/families, school partners, and the university community is essential. * Event management experience in large, dynamic settings * Capacity to work simultaneously with multiple projects and deadlines * Experience working with and supervising college students * Demonstrated strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. Preferred: * Utilizes coaching and mentoring methods which provide an environment that is anticipatory, supportive, and encourages constructive feedback on performance.
