Assistant Business Office Manager

Full-time, permanent position with local retail business in Augusta, Maine. Must have weekend availability, 40+ hours a week. Candidates must be trustworthy, have exceptional communication skills, proven strong computer skills, and a basic understanding of accounting principles as it relates to profitability. 

Oversees and manages all aspects of business operations including but not limited to:

  • Accounting Functions - A/R and A/P, bank reconciliation, daily cash ups, general ledger accounts, financials, inventory. 
  • Human Resources - Payroll, maintain company handbooks and job descriptions, employee record keeping, performance improvement coaching. 
  • Reception/Office Mgmt. - Data entry, phones, email, create reports relating to profitability, productivity, sales metrics, and incentive plans, ordering of all office and store supplies, key carrying responsibilities. 
  • House Keeping - Maintain cleanliness in offices, restrooms, lunch areas, etc.
