At Ascentium Capital, the Direct Sales Consultant develops business and retains and services clients. Ascentium Capital, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regions Bank, provides direct financing for all sizes of business, from small organizations to Fortune 500 companies, with programs that benefit manufacturers, distributors and resellers. Our finance specialization covers several segments, including technology, healthcare, hospitality, franchise, and many other key markets. Ascentium strives to be the premier provider of customized finance programs that add value to our customers’ businesses.

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
+ High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of commercial, small business, equipment financing or related inside sales experience may substitute for a degree
+ Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
+ Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms and other applicable sales tools

+ Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commission, and percentages
+ Ability to manage multiple and consistently evolving priorities
+ Ability to learn additional systems as needed
+ Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
+ Ability to work in a team environment when applicable

+ Developed negotiation and consultative sales skills
+ Developed relationship-building skills
+ Demonstrated ability to present information effectively to different audiences
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
