Job Summary:MaineGeneral Health currently has an opening for a Sr. Analyst on our Finance team. The individual we seek will be responsible for developing and implementing the planning, coordination and administration of general accounting activities of the Organization. 5 + years of accounting experience is strongly desired.Job Description:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Prepares general ledger entries in conjunction with monthly closing processes and reconciles general ledger accounts.
+ Develops analytical/departmental reports as required or requested. Assists with the development and administration of the organization’s annual budget.
+ Provides advanced level consults on the development, implementation, and management of strategies that advance the objectives of the business unit and the organization. Works with internal and external auditors to prepare for and facilitate audits.
+ Monitors and ensures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
