Job Description

Job Objective

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for performing duties on and off the production line related to preparation, manufacturing, and packaging of product in accordance with Stonewall Kitchen standards.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Perform all stations on the manufacturing line
  2. Visually inspects products to ensure quality is achieved
  3. Hand-finish work on product, including tie tags, labels, and pre-ticketing and any other miscellaneous table work required
  4. Utilize pallet trucks to assist with movement of finished product
  5. Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shift and at the end of the shift
  6. Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate personnel


Tier Criteria


Tier 1

  • Successfully completes 90 day introductory period
  • Attendance run rate < 9 occurrences
  • Successfully completes all new hiring training
  • Effectively completes all rotations at pace
  • Receive pallet jack certification
  • Receive a greater than 97% pass rate of box audits

Tier 2

  • Successfully completes all Tier 1 pre-requisites
  • Completed three months in Tier 1
  • Attendance run rate < 9 occurrences
  • Meets/exceeds skill or speed thresholds in rotation
  • Receive a greater than 98% pass rate of box audits
  • Successfully able to setup item specs for boxing position

Tier 3

  • Successfully completes all Tier 2 pre-requisites
  • Completed three months in Tier 2
  • Attendance run rate < 8 occurrences
  • Receive greater than 99% pass rate of box audits
  • Able to break a Specialist
  • Successfully trained and/or able to complete one or more of the following; Spice back up, QA back up, designated trainer of new associates
  • Able to setup/breakdown/run Line 3
  • Effectively setup and organize line rotations
  • Effectively able to conduct box audits
  • Actively promotes safety in the workplace
  • Exemplifies Module 9

Additional Responsibilities


  1. Follow all company policies and procedures with regard to safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment, including food safety.
  2. Performs other job related duties as assigned
  3. Successfully follow Module 9, GMP, HACCP, and SOP policies and procedures



Experience, Education and Skills


  1. Previous manufacturing experience and ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks a plus
  2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis and to stand for several hours at a time as well as bend and stretch
  3. Is flexible with work schedule to accommodate business needs
  4. Must have proven abilities to work well within a team
  5. Follow all company, regulatory and industry standards
  6. Must have strong manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
