Job Description:

Responsibilities:

+ Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities and administers medications.

+ Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.

+ Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN.

+ Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

+ Assists with keeping patient’s environment safe, clean, and orderly.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ Current Maine CRMA certification required AND

+ Personal Support Specialist (PSS) required or within 120 days of hire

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.

+ 1 year or more of experience preferred
