Position overview!

This exciting opportunity is based in a residential home with 3 young men. Your primary role will be role modeling, mentoring and teaching these young men how to become the best of who they can become! You will have the opportunity to teach effective positive/respectful social skills, productive leisure skills, good sportsmanship, work preparation skills, home care skills, male hygiene skills and self-regulation skills. You will also engage in exciting adventures in the community playing sports, fishing, hiking, bike riding and any other activity of their interest that will enhance their lives. You will work with a peer as the young men require lots motivation and direction to stay on task as they learn. This home is located in the Hallowell Maine area.

We have full-time, part time, per-diem/flexible positions available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. We offer competitive wages, paid holidays, mileage reimbursement, paid trainings, paid earned time off and 24-hour assistance available for problem solving while on the job. MVRA will train the right candidates for these positions. Paid trainings are as follows-Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) Behavioral Management Techniques (safety care), CPR, BBP, and any other training required by the state or specially required for the site.
