The Derivatives Accountant I performs a variety of Customer service and accounting functions in support of the derivatives and commercial loan operations of the company. The Derivatives Accountant I also performs a variety of accounting activities related to month-end financial closing, ensuring transactions are properly recorded and performing various financial analyses. The job assists with account reconciliations, including researching and analyzing to ensure accounting requirements are met. The job also creates variety of financial reports, reviews/prepares journal entries and ensures proper accounting policies and procedures are maintained in assigned business lines and areas of specialization.
