Job Description
Maine Coast Regional Health Facilities d/b/a Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital has opening for Family Medicine Physician in Ellsworth, ME. Provide long-term comprehensive care for pediatric and adult patients through diagnosis, prevention, and treatment informed by the patient’s unique needs. Conduct routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Prescribe necessary medication. Manage chronic illnesses, including referring patients to subspecialists. Supervise seven medical assistants. Must have MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in internal medicine, family medicine, or related; and Maine Medical License or eligible.
