1st Shift - 6:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 6:00 am to 12 Noon on Friday

Starting Pay Range $23.00 - $26.00/hr (pay will be based upon experience)

Our Globe Footwear Plant, a Division of MSA Safety, is looking for individuals who are interested in being part of a team that builds protective leather footwear for firefighters. Our Team consist of individuals performing stitching and non stitching operations as we convert specialty cut fabric into high quality footwear.

Now hiring for a Warehouse Coordinator to support our team at our Auburn, Maine manufacturing plant. This role will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and pack orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Oversee the receiving, unpacking, and inspection of goods, verifying quantities and quality against packing slips or purchase orders.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
  • Allocate space for incoming goods and ensure proper storage to optimize warehouse capacity.
  • Collaborate with production team to fulfill orders and resolve any issues or delays.
  • Maintain safety protocols and procedures within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency measures to streamline warehouse operations.



  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
