Now hiring for a Production Planner at our Auburn, Maine Manufacturing Plant. This role will perform a functional role as part of the plant-based team to support the Supply Chain strategy at MSA. • Ensure production orders are maintained to provide accurate MRP signals.
  • Utilize demand signals from SAP to understand workload per responsible production line and aid the capacity planning process.
  • Prioritize production lines by utilizing SAP exception messaging to expedite, de-expedite, reschedule and re-plan assigned work centers based on internal and external customers' dynamically changing needs.
  • Work closely with the New Product Development project teams as it relates to master data set up, workload planning, driving demand signals in SAP, and scheduling beta and stock builds to ensure production readiness.
  • Ensure execution of production plan through verbal and electronic communication of production schedule to the assigned production supervisor and group leader.
