Job Description

Within Wolters Kluwer Financial & Corporate Compliance division is the Financial Services business (WKFS). WKFS provides a wide range of technology-enabled lending, regulatory and investment compliance solutions, corporate services, and legal entity compliance solutions. Customers include:

Financial institutions – banks, non-bank lenders, credit unions, insurers and securities firms.

As the Technology Implementation Consultant , you will function as a business systems analyst that is part of a WKFS Professional Services team that works closely with client technical and business teams on engagements lasting 3-6 months or longer to deliver integrated software systems for financial institutions. This role is assigned to multiple engagements, works with direct supervision, and interacts with matrixed organizations, internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provides support to implementation and system integration projects.

+ Performs analysis regarding feature/functionality of WKFS software solutions, and configuration options to achieve customer’s business needs.

+ Analyzes, and documents customer’s business requirements in support of the Professional Services project team or in collaboration with customer’s business, technical, and compliance staff.

+ Consults with customers to complete data mapping requirements for the integration between systems. This includes consulting regarding usage and purpose of WKFS data requirements, and helping the customer identify appropriate data sources from their system based on their business practices.

+ Contributes to the analysis, planning, logical design, development, testing and maintenance of customer engagement deliverables based on the customer’s requirements.

+ Under direct supervision, participates in the execution of integration and acceptance test plans during the customer engagements.

+ Perform configurations, scripting, and solutions adaptations to implement requirements.

+ Track and troubleshoot issues related to configuration, network, security, performance, database and deliver fixes.

+ Analyze technical feasibility and propose solutions to meet business requirements.

Qualifications:

+ 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.

+ 1+ years as a business systems analyst in software development and/or related experience.

+ Large-system integration project experience preferred.

+ Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts related to technology implementation.

+ Strong knowledge of database design concepts.

+ Understands key business drivers and how to leverage software capabilities.

+ 4-5+ years working in a client-facing or consulting role or other equivalent experience.

+ Experience in software product development or implementation.

+ Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Travel 20-50% domestic travel.
