Job Description:

The Role:

Cardiology & ECG Technician Schedule: Part-time, primarily every-other weekend; 7:00 am – 11:00 am Weekday shifts available, but not required. Opportunity: Enjoy a part-time schedule that primarily covers every-other weekend, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing other professional or personal commitments. The Work:

+ Reviews patient’s record and instructs patient prior to and during procedures. Monitors patient during procedures and reports any abnormal findings. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.

+ Prepares patients for cardiology procedures to include ECG, cardiology stress testing, holter monitoring and event monitoring.

+ Maintains equipment and medical supplies including reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. Maintains exam areas.

+ Ensures procedure charges are obtained and entered in the appropriate software with timeliness and accuracy.

You Have:

+ Previous experience performing ECGs and placing cardiac monitors is preferred, but will train on the job for the right candidate.

+ Knowledge of cardiac procedures and terminology, preferred.

+ Excellent attention to detail.

+ Ability to work with and troubleshoot medical equipment.

+ Clear communication skills and the ability to provide instructions to patients with compassion and professionalism.
