The psychometrist provides clinical support for neuropsychologist and psychologist through observation and administration of psychological tests.
- Observes and reports behaviors accurately and carefully using formats directed by doctor.
- Reports test interfering behaviors of patient or other factors that interfere with test performance immediately to doctor.
- Provide appropriate reassurance and encouragement to patients to help them perform at maximum potential.
- Follow standard instructions and guidelines of order of testing as directed by doctor.
- Calculate standardized scores using scoring and norms tables as directed and records data as directed by doctor.
- Maintain and protect the security of administrative and scoring manuals and test norms.
