Position: EHR Program Director

We are on the lookout for an experienced and dynamic EHR Program Director to join our team. As the EHR Director, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization through pre-implementation and implementation activities, ensuring a successful transition to an enhanced electronic health record system.
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Strategic Leadership: Provide essential organizational knowledge and guidance to facilitate decision-making, maintaining a common vision, plan, and goals across all program areas.
+ Program Management Mastery: Manage the scope, cost, schedule, and quality of the project, overseeing staff, and effectively allocating resources.
+ Holistic Coordination: Coordinate all project activities, including software and hardware, business and IT tasks. Establish and manage a super user program, internal communications, and change management strategies.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with business & clinical leaders, promote the new system, and represent it positively to the user community.
+ Vendor Collaboration: Regularly review progress with the vendor, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and direction.
+ Implementation Readiness: Lead and manage the effort to prepare for system implementation, including workflow redesign, governance, program benefits, and change management.
+ Subject Matter Expertise: Demonstrate knowledge and experience with major facets of the enterprise EHR system and act as an internal advisor.
What You Bring to the Table:
+ Leadership: Proven experience leading large teams of individuals and the ability to manage staff effectively.
+ Communication: Strong communication, facilitation and organizational skills.
+ Program Management: Track record of delivering IT enterprise-level programs within budget, scope, and schedule.
+ Tools Proficiency: Solid work experience with project management software.
+ Certifications: PMI certification Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred.
+ Healthcare Insight: 5 years of applicable EHR experience in the healthcare environment strongly preferred.
