Job Overview

Wright-Ryan is seeking clerical staff with 2 to 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable processing for a full-time (40 hrs) position.

The AP Administrator performs and completes assigned AP duties ensuring accuracy and timeliness in both documentation and transaction processing. Understanding the overview of how the AP function fits within the General Ledger is a plus. We utilize a paperless invoicing system so most of this work is conducted electronically. This individual has extensive contact with external vendors to clarify payment terms, eliminate duplicate entries and ensure all invoices are submitted and paid. There is ongoing contact with individuals throughout the company who manage construction projects or authorize payables for payment.

Job Requirements

+ 2 to 4 years of experience in AP processing, reconciliation and balancing.

+ Strong technology aptitude-various systems and accounting software, especially Microsoft Office

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to multi-task

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Wright-Ryan office staff, vendors, subcontractors and visitors

+ Excellent attention to detail and documentation

Education and Experience Requirements

+ 2 year degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent level of experience

Preferred Skills

+ Exposure to paperless invoicing system; scanning and coding

+ Exposure to some or all of the following accounting functions: Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Invoicing

+ Knowledge of paperless scanning and coding
