Digital Product Owner
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office (Hartford, CT, Charlotte, NC, Lake Mary, FL, or Portland, ME ) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

The Hartford is seeking a digital professional to support its Customer Identity and Access Management Tool (CIAM). CIAM is an enterprise asset that is the front door to the Hartford—sitting in front of our key digital applications, CIAM ensures customers who are registering or logging in are accessing through secure, compliant methods. The assets provided by CIAM are critical to protecting The Hartford and preventing unauthorized access to customer accounts and digital flows.
The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maximizing the value of numerous digital capabilities through strategic and tactical product decisions. In this role, he/she will work with line of business digital teams, analytics, information protection teams, IT and user experience design teammates to develop insights, define opportunities, create, and test hypotheses and deliver new and optimized digital capabilities that protect and secure The Hartford’s digital front door. The individual will build out the digital strategy and roadmap, scorecards, competitive benchmarks and lead agile work streams and teams. The qualified individual will have exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence a key pillar of The Hartford’s security posture to make a meaningful impact on protecting The Hartford, the customer and the agent experience.
In order to be successful in this role, the individual needs to have a high level of self-motivation, curiosity and ownership. Digital/technology expertise, passion for customer experience and bias for data-driven insight to guide decisions and actions are crucial. Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and a clear preference for working collaboratively in a team environment are essential. This role demands a high performing individual contributor who is able influence others and balance multiple priorities. The role will report to the Director of Digital Agile Product Management within the Enterprise Marketing organization, and will directly support the Director of Enterprise Digital Capabilities day-to-day.
+ Maintain awareness and familiarity with security and IAM (identity and access management) practices and trends. Stay current on internal, competitive and industry technology trends in order to be viewed as a subject matter expert and to help guide the digital agenda
+ Build vision for ideal digital log in and registration experience and associated business cases and delivery roadmaps to enable digital adoption in secure, compliant, and scalable ways
+ Set the digital strategy for experiences, enhancements and capabilities needed to improve results (i.e. passwordless log in, behavior analytics and fraud detection, cloud migration, etc.) over time. Create consistent, measurable improvement (i.e. registration, logins, password reset success)
+ Responsible for prioritizing and grooming the product backlog with the support of the product manager in order to ensure proper feature roadmap alignment.
