Job Description
Hang Ten Hospitality LLC dba York Beach Surf Club and Sea Latch Inn located in York, Maine in York County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2023-10/31/2023, 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary. Shifts required to work are: 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, and/or 4pm-12am. (6) Openings. Will train to prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, orders, and mandates related to cleaning and sanitation required to combat COVID 19. No education or prior experience is required. On the job training is provided. $17.69p/hour or $26.54 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $14 p/day during travel to a maximum of $59 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Sunday at 12:01 am and ending Saturday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted bi-weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $175 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer weekly. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
