Instructional Program (CIP)
A 120 hour course designed to give students hands on training in both the classroom and in actual Dental practices. The student will be introduced on how to assist the dentist and the dental hygienist. The course will prepare the student with the knowledge required to sit for the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB) Radiation Health and Safety Exam, which is required to apply for a State of Maine Dental Radiographer license.
This class consists of 90 hours classroom and 30 hours at a local dental practice. This course includes CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification.
This course does not include the cost of the application for DANB testing of Certification for the Maine State Radiographer licensing.
