The Medical Assisting Associate Degree program focuses on providing students with basic education and training needed in fast?paced and demanding medical offices. The program encompasses instruction in communications, software applications, mathematics, pharmacology, medical terminology, medical law and ethics, as well as clinical and administrative competencies and includes a practicum in a healthcare se?ng. All courses are designed to prepare graduates to work successfully in a wide variety of outpatient medical settings.
