Description

This 60-hour course is designed for immigrants with a higher level of English proficiency (ESOL 5 and above) who want to advance their careers. Students will learn to apply their professional, transferable skills to the US workforce. Emphasis is on writing etiquette for the workplace. Students will prepare a professional portfolio including a resume, cover letter, a sample application form, references and well-crafted introduction. Students will learn financial literacy skills and participate in 10 hours of computer lab time focused on job search skills.
