Description
This distance education program is designed to prepare individuals for providing direct support to consumers in assisted living programs, residential care facilities, adult day service, and home care settings. Topics include: legal and ethical aspects of care; communication; observation, reporting, & documentation; health, safety, & fire prevention; concepts of aging and illness; and basic ASL skills. A pre-program interview is required.
