Change a life, including your own, by joining the Genesis nursing center team as a Nursing Unit Assistant. In this position, you will work under the direction of a licensed nurse to provide nonpatient care to achieve positive outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
Position Highlights
Manage patient personal belongings
Ensure water pitchers are filled and changed regularly to promote patient hydration
Make unoccupied patient beds
Assist with the dining program.
Answer patient call light or bell promptly.
Collect and bag soiled linens; obtain clean linens and supplies from supply areas.
Cleans patient rooms, utility rooms and kitchen areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the nursing center. A minimum of a high school diploma or high school equivalency is preferred. Basic knowledge of computers and/or willingness to learn is preferred.
