As the Development Manager for Corporate Accounts, you will lead building a strategic roadmap for training, development programs and other key projects for our Corporate Accounts function. Corporate hospital operators represent highly strategic partners for IDEXX and a fast-growing customer segment in veterinary healthcare. You will be responsible for full project lifecycles from sizing and scoping, to implementation and ongoing oversite to ensure successful program execution. It will be important to have a keen eye for facilitating the alignment of resources, considering interdependencies like systems, tools, certifications, and training delivery mechanisms. You will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver on the project strategies for corporate accounts. A global mindset will be imperative to ensure North America and international programs remain aligned.
In the role of Development Manager for Corporate Accounts:
This new leader will focus on Strategic Account Management skill building that will include the following: understanding organizational priorities, developing strategic account planning skills, building multifunctional team leadership skillsets, developing negotiations skills to enable joint solution development and identifying client needs & Strategic account opportunity planning and long-term account management/strategies. You will conduct training needs assessments against current and future state to identify immediate priorities and long-term roadmaps. Develop plans to track and analyze success of programs ongoing; using methods identified in strategic plan, build recommendations and implement creative solutions. Cultivate knowledge of global, cross-industry best practices in Strategic Account Management. Develop a solid understanding of veterinary industry trends impacting Corporate customers. Devise a knowledge base rooted in adult learning, company products and internal systems. Develop training plans in support of multiple sales channels in alignment with stakeholders. Partner with internal and external resources to consult on content development for trainings, meetings and special projects to ensure alignment with Corporate Account strategies. Partner with international partners to ensure broader strategic alignment of training programs and methodologies

What you need to succeed?
- You bring 10+ years of leading large full life cycle projects.PMP certification a plus
- The ability to work collaboratively in matrix environment.
- You bring proven leadership skills, with ability to guide and motivate others.
- You have the ability to influence and motivate extended teams and others to assist in driving business objectives; ability to lead without authority.
- You are experienced in negotiations and have persuasion skills.
- A proven track record in building strong relationships with customers & colleagues and to work with all levels internally and externally.
- A general financial and business acumen
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to build high impact presentations.
- Some travel required, domestic and international(Post COVID).
