DIRECTOR OF NUTRITION
Health and Human Services Department – The Barron Center, where kindness matters, has an opportunity for an experienced food service Director to lead an excellent large-scale food service team. The Director of Nutrition plans, directs and manages the administration and operations of food services for a 219 bed, multi building, long-term care health care facility, as well as internal catering. The Barron Center is owned and operated by the City of Portland and is Maine’s largest skilled nursing facility. The pay is competitive, the benefits outstanding. Food Service Supervisor as defined by the Regulations Governing the Licensing and Functioning of Skilled Nursing Facilities and Nursing Facilities. Considerable experience in a large-scale food service operation. Experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team to optimize Resident’s health and wellbeing. Associates or bachelor’s degree in business management preferred or relevant subject area. Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment physical exam. Offers of employment are contingent upon completion of a satisfactory criminal conviction background check.
