JOB SUMMARY

$1,000 signing bonus for new hires!

The Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) provides chair-side assistance to the Dentist. As a CDA they must have passed three component exams which include General Chairside Assisting (GC), Radiation Health and Safety (RHS), and Infection Control (ICE) and have. The CDA must also have a current Maine State Dental Radiographer License.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

+ Associates Degree required

+ Successful completion of the DANB Certified Dental Assisting Exam to include the following:

+ General Chairside Assistant (GC)

+ Radiation Health and Safety (RHS)

+ Infection Control (ICE)

+ Valid Maine State Dental Radiographer License

+ Valid Maine Driver’s License

Experience

+ 1-3 years’ experience required

+ 1-3 years’ medical terminology required

+ 1-3 years’ Electronic Dental Record (EDR) Experience

+ Other skills required

+ Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and possess good oral and written communication skills

+ Must be able to provide patient-centered care

+ Must be organized and achieve a high level of accuracy in daily work

+ Must be able to work well under pressure
