The Senior Corporate Communications Professional develops and coordinates lines of communication outside the organization. The Senior Corporate Communications Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
The Corporate Communications team at Humana is responsible for leading and executing the strategies for external stakeholder, media relations, employee communications, public affairs, issues, and crisis communications, enhancing, and building the Humana Brand. The team plays a central role in promoting Humana’s brand promise while enhancing its reputation across various corporate stakeholders.
The role of Senior Professional, Social Media, Corporate Communications, is a creative problem solver and analytically-minded communications professional who will create content and recommend channel approaches that best suit Humana’s target audiences. Must have a high attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both collaboratively & independently and a desire to build new skills.
+ Responsible for supporting the social/digital COE lead in day-to-day activities to include campaign, content & measurement planning, development & execution
+ Multi-channel support/management: ability to manage time and multiple projects at once
+ Content development, publishing & reporting. Familiarity with a wide range of social/digital platforms are important.
+ Candidate will be responsible for adhering to social media content & platform best practices
+ Responsible for community management: demonstrating a strong understanding of Humana’s voice and channel engagement policies
+ Brings insights-driven thinking, the ability to identify trends from data/analytics and apply learnings to future campaigns/content
+ Basic understanding of how paid/owned/earned communications work together
+ Degree in Communications, Marketing or Digital preferable, but can be supplemented by work experience
+ 2 to 5+ years of experience in digital communications/social media, corporate communications or public relations
+ High attention to detail, including strong writing and proofreading skills, are a must
+ Experience with creative platforms/software (Adobe Creative Cloud) is a plus
+ Solid grasp of trends (both in news/culture, and on social networks)
+ Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently with limited oversight
+ A quick learner, with a penchant for developing new skills/expertise
