Job Description

Northern Maine General is seeking a Residential Plan Coordinator (RPC) who is responsible for developing residential treatment plans in collaboration with an individual’s team, and coordinating, providing oversight, and consultation to agency waiver homes. The RPC will also supervise waiver home managers, providing quality assurance measures to assure the managers are operating in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The RPC must be able to multi-task, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and in the community. The RPC must be able to understand and maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards, respond calmly and professionally to crisis situations, and effectively present information and respond to clients, guardians and families, staff, and outside agencies.

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in a field of study applicable to the human services field, or a MHRT-C, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the provision and coordination of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. It is preferred that the candidate have training in psycho/social rehabilitation, interviewing and counseling, community mental health, mental health and aging, and group processes.
