Job Description

Cianbro is seeking candidates for a crane operator development program. This opportunity will be a 4-week development program at the Cianbro Institute in Pittsfield. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be assigned to a Cianbro project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily inspection and preventative maintenance on the equipment.
Read and understand load chart (good math skills).
Ensure safety at all times.
Plan and assist for critical lifts.
Set up the crane for heavy lifts.
Control crane movement in response to hand signals or radio commands.
May be assigned miscellaneous tasks outside your craft to assist others as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS CDL A or B licenses are a plus.
Be able to pass DOT Physical requirements
The position may require background checks.
Live local to the Simulated Work Environment (Pittsfield)
Heavy Equipment Operation (helpful)
Rigging/Iron Worker Exp. (helpful)
Travel is required

Location: Pittsfield, Maine. Travel required upon completion of training.
